I am a HPAS level 2 accredited and IHO Cat. B educated hydrographic surveyor, active since April 2021.
Key skills:
Proactive working spirit
Calmheaded in stressful environments
Analytically strong
Fluent in Dutch and English, German at working level
Strong understanding of survey systems and Survey Engineering
Pragmatic mindset
Troubleshooting in complex setups
Since finishing the Skilltrade Cat. B course, I have worked with a great variety of survey systems and companies.
With a very steep learning curve, I have acquired a strong understanding of in- and nearshore surveying, as well as the broader in- and nearshore construction industry.
The main fields of work have been in Cables, Wind, and Dredging. Other fields have been Construction, Maintenance, and Sandpits.
My recently acquired HPAS level 2 accreditation is testament to a proper understanding of the hydrographic field, and the experience to show for it. Some quotes from the panel below:
"Your application was considered a strong and straightforward submission, demonstrating excellent capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of the field. We acknowledge the significant effort and professional commitment evident throughout your documentation, which was deemed complete and professionally presented."
"Provided clear evidence of progressive experience, with approximately four years of professional practice. The experience matrix was well-structured and reflected a balanced range of activities consistent with the current working environment."
"Reports generally demonstrated autonomy and sound professional judgement. The Panel noted that they included appropriate Level 2 detail, particularly on topics such as sensor calibration, configuration, interconnectivity, and troubleshooting."
